Swimming Lessons!

I'm taking swimming at Foss Swim School in Chanhassen. I did not like it at all, not one little bit, at first. Now, I like it a lot better; enough, in fact, to stand at the door waiting for my turn:

Art School...

Hey, everyone! Wow, there's so much to tell you about, but I'll start with this:

I'm an artist!



I've got a cool easel from Ikea which has a whiteboard, a chalkboard and a roll of paper for painting and drawing. It's fun to draw, but I have to wear this giant shirt to prevent me from writing all over myself.

Sneezing is hilarious!



I get a little emotional when the Play-Doh gets taken away from me....sorry.

Finally, happy haircut to me!



It's a little neater than it was before, but I didn't care for the lady waving her scissors around in front of my face. Therefore, I think the back looks better than the front.

Like, OMG! I haven't posted in ages!

Sorry for the long pause. There was lots to do in the mean time and, as if you hadn't guessed, I'm spending lots of time learning to walk... It's hard. I'll try to get some video of me practicing and post it up...

Also, I went to "Rock the Cradle", a music event for kids, at the Chidren's Theater. Here, my friend Alexandra and I are jamming with some "Boom-whackers". Neat, but noisy.

PRUNEFACE!!!!!

Grandpa Larry has been trying to get me to make a funny face he calls "Pruneface". I finally learned how to do it and here are my examples:

Since I'm getting pretty good at standing, and Daddy still takes a lot of pictures of me, I'm working on posing.

In other news, I like to wash my hands after eating and I love the running water. I could hold my hand under there for as long as I can stand on my little step-stool.



After I wash my hands, I like to work out on the StairMaster...

Happy Halloween!

You've seen the pictures from before, but Grandma and Grandpa took some more at the Arboretum with me and some giant orange pumpkins. I'll have those ready to show you soon. Until then, here's a video daddy made of me being naughty.

Wow! I've got the big news!

Get this, I'm a crawler now! Woo!



I can pretty much go anywhere I want. I should add that I have a giant fence thing that keeps me from going too far, but all my toys are inside so it's no big deal.

I love having stories read to me but I've only got about 10 books and, well, let's just say I'm familiar with the storylines.... Opa, on the other hand, finds a lot to like!



I have a love/hate relationship with the funny colored cat. She has the softest fur, but she's not wild about how I pet her (It's a lot more like yanking than petting. -- ed.) so we get into some scuffles from time to time.



Finally, my Halloween costume is done. I'm going as a sunflower and, if I may say so, a pretty cute one. Grandma Barbara made it all, including the fuzzy hat...(which I hate)

So, when I got word, through the Baby Alert Network, that Harley's mom was looking for another blog post, I really gave him the look:



So, here we are...

I've got a new trick. I can sort of stand up and, a couple of nights ago, I actually pulled myself up from a sitting position to standing holding on to a chair. Plus, once I'm up I can sort of shuffle around while holding on.



I went to the State Fair. It was warm, a little smelly and damp (sometimes, so are you... -ed.) but it was pretty fun.



In other news, BATH TIME IS AWESOME TIME!!!



I got this bathrobe from my great-uncle Walter! Cute, pink and awesome! (so are you, little girl... -ed.)

Oh, and the practical tip of the day is: All the best stuff can be found in the big diaper bag!
